It's difficult to make a list of all the beautiful things you can find in Rome. Among them there's Saint Peter square, surrounded by Bernini's colonnade, the basilica and its famous dome. The mysticism you can feel outside is nothing compared to the one you can sense inside, walking through the main aisle or the basement where you can find the remains of Saint Peter and the Popes that followed.

You could walk around town for weeks without being able to visit all of its beautiful sites. Many agencies organize tour buses that, following a route with many stops, allow you to visit all the main attractions in the historical centre. For those who prefer the "do-it-yourself", you could stop by one of the many information booths around town and ask for a tour map and a public transportations map. It's possible to follow the same itineraries without being part of a tour group.

Together with the Colosseo and the Trevi Fountain, don't miss the Vatican Museums. The immeasurable artistic beauties inside are outclassed only by its flagship, the Sistine Chapel.
